Taking a leisurely stroll up Av Santa Fe, Buenos Aires

On September 4th, I took a leisurely long stroll, starting at the Museo de Arte Hispanoamericano and ending up at our apartment near Av Dr. Emilio Ravignani and Nicaragua.  Most of the route eventually took me along Av Santa Fe.  The walk consumed about 2.5 hours, offering all sorts of things to enjoy in passing.  As night descended, store lights gave insights into the stores.

I begin with the conclusion of an elementary school.  Mothers and minders line up and the children wait until they see someone to walk them home.

This older gentleman seemed to be an island of tranquility in the midst of a busy city, particularly as people were heading home.
